So this post is a little off track from what my site is about as the World Eaters aren’t exactly allied with the Imperial Fists through the Horus Hersey.

A good friend of mine was keen to have me give his Butchers a little bit of love. This provided the perfect opportunity to use one of the new Basius pads so I made up 10 new bases to give them a little bit more detail.

Here are the final results from my efforts.

Painting & Construction

I painted up one as a test model to have a good look at the colour scheme, I then made sure my friend was happy with that and went about batch painting the rest of them.

Using the Basius press pads, some 40mm wooden bases and a 40mm cookie cutter I created some pretty unique bases for each model to stand on.
